Learn in a fun environment in this hands-on Home School Enrichment course

Parents can expect:

– A supervised environment with teaching coming from a Biology Graduate and Registered Nurse.
-Hands-on experience with real farm animals each week
-Outdoor time, movement, and sensory -rich activities
-A balance of science, creativity and fun
-30 minutes of free time to explore the farm, visit favorite animals, play and socialize
-Younger children enjoy story-time and simple activities, while older participants dive deeper into farm science, animal care and environmental teaching.

Itinerary

• Each week will vary based on the theme:
• February- 3 week session (Feb 2, 9, 23): All About Goats
• March – 4 week session (March 2, 9, 16, 23): Life Cycle of Chickens
• April 13: Ruminants at Work! A Special Enrichment Session on Cows, Goats & the Science of Rumination
• April 27: Horse Care Workshop!
• May 4: Inside a Frog- Dissection Class
• May 11: Herb Garden and Foraging
• May 18: Exploring the use of Herbs in Teas
