Our Animals

Meet our animals

Fluffy goat standing in barn doorway with red and white doors.

Peanut Butter

aka “cry baby”

Peanut Butter is our male Nigerian Dwarf goat and daddy to the baby goats born on the farm. He is super sweet and loves attention so much that he cries if he is not getting it from humans or his girlfriends.

Gus

Gus is a Shetland Pony Gelding. He came to us from a farm where he was an escape artist (What can he say? He loves green grass!) and has been with us since 2020. He is a very sweet little pony and has an amazing calming influence on children with special needs. On special occasions, Gus has been known to transform into his Supernatural Persona known as Agustus the Unicorn.

Reese

Reese is a female Nigerian Dwarf goat and the sweetest goat we have. She loves to snuggle and is a great sport about getting dressed up for our events. Reese was “free” to our farm after we spent two days cleaning stalls for her. LOL! We loved her so much that we ended up buying her sister to keep the pair together on our farm. Both have blue eyes.

Oreo McFlurry

Oreo is a Nigerian Dwarf/Pygmy mix. She is a super sweet momma and a great little milk goat.

Peppa Pig

Peppa is a “miniature” pot bellied pig. She is learning to love us and enjoys back scratches, stealing the goats hay, and laying in her large hay nest. Her favorite snacks are pumpkin, banana and apple.

Marshmellow

Marshmellow , aka “Marsha, Marsha, Marsha” is all drama, all the time. This young Nigerian Dwarf goat is naturally polled, meaning she won’t grow horns. She has 3 moon spots on her back. What does that mean? We aren’t sure but it cost us more to buy her. LOL!

Milkshake

Milkshake the Steer. Milkshake is boarded at The Feathered Farm with his pasture mate, Jojo. He is a holstein steer and is over 1500lbs and will continue to grow.

Doodle Bug!

Doodle is our Gypsy Vanner gelding born May 10, 2019.

Snowball

Snowball is a male California Rabbit.  Snowball has red eyes as they are a trademark of his breed.  Snowball was born in the Fall of 2022.

Caramella and Cupcake

These twin girls are daughters of S’More and Peanut Butter.  Notice they have their Daddy’s blue eyes?  They share a birthday with their boyfriend, Rocky Road. 2/9/24.

S'More Frappuccino

One of our original herd.  S’More is a Nigerian Dwarf/Pygmy mix.  She is the only goat on the farm with waddles.  She is the momma to Caramella and Cupcake. She was born in Dec 2020.

Jorge and Abe

These two sweet gelding donkeys were rescued by a farmer from a very bad situation and we were able to adopt them. Jorge is the older brown donkey and Abe was named after Abraham Lincoln because he had a full beard when he first came to the farm.   (Jorge is our Spanish twist on George.)

Maggie Moo and Bull Dozer

Maggie Moo and Bull Dozer are our two miniature Hereford/Belted Galloway mix cows.  They share a dad and are 1/2 brother/sister.  They were born 1 day apart and have spent their entire lives together.  Dozer is no longer a bull so Maggie won’t be having any babies unless we send her off to be bred.
